We embedded inside Rwanda's investment-promotion agency to build a business-process-outsourcing sector from a standing start — identifying the opportunity, building the agency's own analytical capacity, and clearing the specific barriers that kept global operators out.
That meant working across government on what firms actually needed: streamlined visas for investors, clarity on data regulation, reliable power and connectivity, and a pipeline of trained young workers.
Today, BPO is one of Rwanda's fastest-growing sources of good, formal jobs for young people — and its leading operators are now among the country's largest private employers.

Working alongside government, we ran a comprehensive sector analysis and identified roughly $2.5 billion of realistic export potential across agro-processing, automotive assembly, and tourism.
We're now replicating the embedded approach that worked in Rwanda — prioritising the highest-potential opportunities, engaging investors directly, and resolving the constraints standing between each sector and global capital.

We identified a specific, high-value opportunity: exporting Alphonso mangoes from Malawi to India, built on a simple natural edge — Malawi harvests in India's off-season, when prices are high and domestic supply is short.
Beyond mangoes, the team is mapping Malawi's broader agricultural export potential while working through the logistics, quality-certification, and buyer-relationship barriers that unlock it.
